Message from Mark Avery on Pat Lynch Retiring

After 47 years of service in the wood products industry, Pat Lynch has announced his retirement, effective December 31st. Pat began his career in July 1977 as an outside sales representative at Boise Cascade in St. Louis, Missouri.

Throughout his career, Pat has held various sales and leadership roles at prominent companies, including Weyerhaeuser, Champion International, and Georgia Pacific, where he served as Vice President of Sales for the Structural Panel Division. In 2012, he moved to Oregon to join Roseburg Forest Products, and later took on the role of VP and General Manager at Darlington Veneer Company in South Carolina. He then returned to Oregon to conclude his career as VP of Sales at Timber Products.

Pat has been a dedicated industry advocate, serving for 28 years on the APA MAC Committee, two years with the Hardwood Federation, and as Chairman of the Board at DHA. His commitment to advancing the industry has left a lasting impact.

While retiring from full-time employment, Pat plans to remain active in the wood products sector through his consulting company, Lynco Wood Connections. He looks forward to continuing to contribute
his expertise to the industry in this new capacity.
